Sanctuary Baines' Camp is located on a huge private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. This is Sanctuary's smallest and most intimate camp, with only five luxurious suites. It is a semi-permanent, low environmental impact camp that has been built using commercially grown wood and recycled tin cans (collected by the local community in Maun). These cans were then incorporated into the camp buildings, forming the backbone of the structures. This construction also drew on the local knowledge of mud-and-wattle construction. There are no permanent foundations and all the decks are raised.
